He spent two hours at the event, talking to the kids and giving out awards.

Ben had this to say:

"I've never used drugs in my entire life and I'm very proud of that. That's why I'm very happy and anxious and eager to do this, because I wouldn't feel right if I did drugs or do drugs and come here and tell kids NOT to do it. That wouldn't be right for me."

As to being around drugs:

"I don't put myself in that situation. If there is something there, wherever it is, I don't go - I leave right away. It 's not just something [where] I'm going to get myself in that situation. Because I don't feel that is being a 'right' role model whether I'm doing it or not, being there if there are drugs there!"

It was then all about the players as they hit the runway, many with their kids, in their jerseys dancing and having fun to their own musical selections. Among the choices were Ben Roethlisberger and his son Ben to â€œJust the Two of Us,â€ by Will Smith, Shaun Suisham to his countryâ€™s National Anthem â€œO Canada,â€ and Bruce Gradkowski and daughter Liliana to the Temptations â€œMy Girl.â€
