Pastor Jeff Rice, a HUGE Steelers fan, received the winning shoe for his birthday, but was not aware of it because it was his congregation that sent in his name for the June birthdays. When he actually won, they asked if they could keep Ben's shoe until October so that they could present it to him during October's Pastor Appreciation Month!

Received the cleat. Kathleen was so excited when she saw the box on the front porch that she was giggling. She went right up and put her pink Big Ben jersey on and her brother's breast cancer Steelers cap and posed in front of Connor's framed Ben bumble bee jersey.

The shoe now sits atop our shrine to the little man, which commemorates many good times for us (the three amigos)- all centered around our familial love of the Black and Gold.

As a life long Steeler fan and an individual that, when finances were extremely tight in 1974, emptied the family savings to buy equipment and start a community Pee Wee football program, in Camden, Ohio, he still enjoys catching every Steeler game. Bob Rush worked at Miami University during Ben's career and retired a few years ago.
