I´m from Monterrey, Mexico. I´m Steelers fan since I was 9 years old, I played football in a team named "acereros", that means Steelers in Spanish. Now i´m 38, and here in Monterrey we have a group named "Regios de Acero" ("men & women of steel") - a Steelers fans group. Every year we make a trip to USA to see a game of our beloved team. Past year we made a trip to New Orleans on October 31st, and in February to Dallas SB XLV (without tickets, we made our tailgate nearest of the stadium, 1 block away and saw the game by TV). Now we scheduled our 2011 trip to see the Steelers at Arizona and Houston. My dream is to visit the Heinz Field and see my team playing at home, and I know that one day I will be there.

A Make-A-Wish Day to remember1320 viewsMore from Brandon's father:
The story behind the picture I sent of Ben reaching out to shake my wife’s hand with the huge grin on Bran’s face is one I will always remember.
After Ben yelled out make ‘Make-A-Wish’, he ran towards Bran and about five feet before he got to him, he turned towards my wife and acted like the wish was for her. Everyone that was with us cracked up laughing – it immediately put everyone at ease!
Ben also knew that Brett Keisel was one of Bran’s favorite players, so Ben was introducing himself to our family as Brett!
We just couldn’t believe how much time Ben and the Steelers spent making sure Bran had a great time.
In recent weeks Brandon’s cancer has returned with a vengeance and there is no way of stopping it now.
Brandon has battled this like a warrior for a year and a half, and his battle is coming to its final stage.
Last night (April 10, 2013) we jumped up with over 600 likes on Brandon's Facebook page thanks to the work of Ben, Erin, and Steeler Nation! I asked for a little help, and they got me a huge response! This is why I have been a Steeler fan for over 40 years!

September 23, 2007 - Steelers vs. 49ers812 viewsBen scrambles to get away.
Quote from 49er's head coach, Mike Nolan today on the 49ers offiicial site:
The 49ers sacked Ben Roethlisberger twice, not nearly as many times as the Steelers' QB slipped away from pressure and came away with explosive plays.
“I don’t know how many times Big Ben kept plays alive,†said Nolan. “That’s Pittsburgh doing a very good job and us not doing a very good job. We had our hands on him several times and didn’t tackle him. Now he’s a big man, but we knew that going into the game and I don’t know how many times he escaped the rush and kept things alive. You are not going to bring Ben down with one arm.â€
