June 19, 2012 - On the way to Ireland!751 viewsFrom Gina Huss, Pittsburgh native and Die-Hard Steelers fan:
There were 6 of us (all born and raised in Pittsburgh!) going on a trip to Europe where we would be visiting Ireland, Wales, England, and France.. For 2 of us, it was our senior trip! We had a layover in Atlanta and then would be flying from there into Dublin airport. So there we were just hanging out in the Atlanta airport eating frozen yogurt when our adult chaperone came running over to us flailing her arms and freaking out because she just saw Big Ben with some friends at the nearby restaurant! Naturally all being from Pittsburgh, we approached him calmly and told him we were from Pittsburgh and wondered if we could take some pictures with him.
He was so nice to us and took pictures with all of us! He asked where we were going and one of his friends even knew the school district we were from! It was very cool to also find out that he was going to be on our flight to Dublin and that he was going golfing in Scotland!
To add to the already exciting meeting, when we boarded the plane and passed by him in first class, he acknowledged us as the "Pittsburgh senior trip crew" and raised his glass to us and told us to have lots of fun! We were absolutely mindblown! It was a very cool way to start off our Europe trip!
*Thank you Gina!!

July, 2013 - Steelers fan heaven at Hells Point750 views"I was playing golf with my friend Bryan at Hells Point Golf course in VA Beach. We ran into Ben on the course. He could not have been any more friendly! We talked briefly about how I had grown up in Pittsburgh, and how I am the Biggest Steeler Fan ever. Ben is my favorite Steeler of all time. It was so cool of him to stop, talk and take a pic and then to have him sign my Steeler golf bag. What a great day! Thank you Ben!!" -- Your #1 fan, Jimmy Banicar

Heck of a tip indeed!749 views Lisa Maria Caputo @LisaCaputoPA
@_BigBen7 I was given a gift tonight from a customer who knows Big Ben is my #1 Steelers player! Heck of a tip$$...
More on this story:
"I have about 1,500 Facebook friends..mostly customers from CAPUTO'S Dry Tavern Inn located in Greene County, about 40-50 miles south of Pittsburgh. They see my love for the Steelers and of course my loyalty to our QB. The customer, Mark Pitcock of Fayette City told me his daughter won it at a charity event & she's a Cowboys fan (UGH) and he said, 'I know who will love this', and he gave it to me!" -- Lisa Marie Caputto

Steelers Pride in Ireland746 viewsNow it may have been Georgia Tech (Ben’s dad’s alma mater) vs Boston College in Dublin…
But that didn’t stop Irish fan Gordon Dedman from showing off his Steelers Nation Unite Terrible Towel while wearing Ben’s MU college jersey at the 2016 Aer Lingus College Football Classic.
Now that’s what you call REPRESENTIN’!!
And congratulations to Georgia Tech (Ben’s dad’s alma mater) on their 17-14 win!

September, 2014 - Salute to Steeler Nation Mexico726 views
Our fans group is STEELERS Black & Yellow and it’s formed by 2 cities (Saltillo and Monclova), from the state of Coahuila, Mexico.
How did it start?
In Saltillo, Coahuila 2007 Mike Gomez & I (Enrique Hernández) met when Mike went to the Cyber Coffee where I used work, he saw my cap and my terrible towel and he asked me about my passion for the STEELERS.
Among the time we started a friendship that over the years became what is now STEELERS BLACK & YELLOW.
We start it with a fans group around 20 members. Then Mike went to Monclova. With the support of Eduardo Abrego and David Gomez start this group in this city.
Few years ago we met other fans groups like Regios de Acero, Steelers Family & Steelers Mexico.
This year in the last Mexico Training Camp all of us decided follow the Regio de Acero’s idea (your 3rd annual photo) and the last Sunday we took our 1st annual photo STEELERS Fans in more than 14 cities of our nation.
STEELERS Black & Yellow organized the photo in Saltillo and Monclova with an attendance of over 265 people.
Today:
Every time more people join us…Now 7 years after, the fans club STEELERS Black & Yellow has around 500 persons joined for just one reason “PITTSBURGH STEELERSâ€.
Most of us have been participating in various activities related to the STEELERS like a Training Camps, signing autographs, travel to games, learning, playing, living, enjoying every one of his matches and news. We are of Steel… We are STEELERS Black and Yellow. – Kike Hernandez
