This year, the Black and Gold Style Fashion Show celebrated 40 years of Steelers Style.

This worthwhile event included dinner and a high-energy runway fashion show extravaganza prominently featuring the 2014 Pittsburgh Steelers and their families modeling clothing from American Eagle, Nike, and the NFL, benefiting the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and the Cancer Caring Center.

He spent two hours at the event, talking to the kids and giving out awards.

Words from Ben:

"Luckily, I've never lost any friends because of [drugs]. I do know a lot of people that have done it and cleaned up their act because they've seen the negative effects of it."

As to being around drugs:

"I don't put myself in that situation. If there is something there, wherever it is, I don't go - I leave right away. It 's not just something [where] I'm going to get myself in that situation. Because I don't feel that is being a 'right' role model whether I'm doing it or not, being there if there are drugs there!"
