As to being around drugs:

"I don't put myself in that situation. If there is something there, wherever it is, I don't go - I leave right away. It 's not just something [where] I'm going to get myself in that situation. Because I don't feel that is being a 'right' role model whether I'm doing it or not, being there if there are drugs there!"

"I've never used drugs in my entire life and I'm very proud of that. That's why I'm very happy and anxious and eager to do this, because I wouldn't feel right if I did drugs or do drugs and come here and tell kids NOT to do it. That wouldn't be right for me."

The series will feature Cleveland Cavaliers center Shaquille O'Neal stepping out of his comfort zone of basketball and challenging other high-profile athletes in competitions in their sports.

The first show featured Shaq in a visit to Ben's home and then on to a challenge against him on the football field.

This particular competition worked off a 7-on-7 football premise: a skeleton passing formation with receivers and backs with Ben quarterbacking one team, and Shaq quarterbacking the other.

A handicapping system was worked out between the two-time Super Bowl winner and Shaq to make the competition more balanced.
