"I've been a Steeler fan since I was a kid and never thought I'd get to do the things I've been doing for the Army and for our country...I just wanted to share these with you all and hope you enjoy them...One thing I've been able to do is follow the Steelers during this deployment and I'm looking forward to getting home and catching the last couple of the season from my home (in Virginia) with my family. Thanks for taking the time to honor our veterans. I have attached a pic I took when I was at FOB Hammer, Baghdad Iraq. Had to take the pic in front of the street sign "Pittsburgh Steelers St." I was assigned with 3rd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division. Gotta love how Steeler Nation is everywhere. Here We Go Steelers. Support from Afghanistan!1431 viewsPFC Phil Smith (left) and SSG Rey Rivera are currently deployed to Afghanistan out of Ft. Lewis, Washington. Both are "big time Steeler fans", and can't wait for this season to start. PFC Smith is from Pittsburgh, and SSG Rivera is from Arizona.

Veterans Day Weekend - 20121654 viewsI fly the AH-64D Longbow Apache Attack helicopter. The Terrible Towel went with me on every mission I flew during my 12-month tour. This was taken in Afghanistan in July 2011. I still take the Towel with me on every flight, even here in the States. It has accumulated over 450 combat flight hours and about 700 total flight hours. -- CW2 Jeffrey Jones

My husband CW2 David Hall has been Active Duty Army for almost 15 years. He is about to deploy to Afghanistan for his third tour, and has earned a Bronze star among many other medals and achievements!!

We are proud of our Steeler fan- soldier! God bless our troops, the USA and our Steelers!
