Training Camp, 2016447 views“Three years ago today Ben signed my daughters jersey for her. He always seems to go straight to the kids when he’s signing autographs. I just want to say thanks to Big Ben for all the special things he does and continues to do for kids. Thanks again! Can’t wait to see what you do this season!!†— Justin Schneider

August, 2016 - Training Camp444 views“Sean is a seven-year-old boy, born and raised outside of Baltimore, MD. He’s being raised right, however – he’s a big Steeler’s fan! Sean was born with a condition called Dandy-Walker Malformation and Hydrocephalus. He’s had a bit of a rough year, with three neurosurgeries and seven hospitalizations.
Despite all this, he’s just a typical kid who likes to play with his friends and loves football, especially Big Ben.
When we told him we were going to training camp this year, he said all he wanted was to meet Big Ben. Through the kindness of some fans and the Steelers organization, this was able to happen! From the fan who bought Sean a helmet, to the one who asked the Steelers staff to help Sean get autographs, Steelers Nation was at its best!
And the Steelers themselves – well, words cannot express how grateful we are for the experience they gave him. Sean was taken down to the field to meet Big Ben after practice. He was in awe. He told Ben, “I’m your biggest fan!†Ben asked him how old he was, and when he said “Sevenâ€, Ben told him that was a great number! He took time out for photos and autographs, and just some really special time with Sean. Sean met a lot of Steelers yesterday and had a once in a lifetime experience. He says meeting Big Ben was his favorite part. Thank you to the Steelers organization, Steelers’ fans, and especially Big Ben for making this happen!†— Jaclyn Madden

July, 2016 - First Weekend of Camp443 views“I’ll tell you this much about him. He honored his teammate for most of the practice by wearing 83. Then he went out of his way to sign my football when he saw me waiting at the end of the fence away from all the crowd because i couldn’t make it up over the steep hill they were all standing at because i wear a prosthetic leg. Ben has a big heart and i can’t wait for the season to begin!!! He made me feel special even if it was a small gesture it meant the world to me! The first photo was him telling his driver to stop when he saw me. Awesome and stand up guy!!!!†— EV Goughnour

November 8, 2018: Panthers vs Steelers443 viewsFrom Ed Bouchette:
If Ben Roethlisberger can continue to deliver masterpieces like this against a good defense, the Steelers — winners of five straight — might have their best chance at a Super Bowl since the early Mike Tomlin years.
Roethlisberger finished 22-of-25 passing for 328 yards, five touchdowns and a perfect passer rating of 158.3, the third such game of his career. He hit every throw, as if tossing into a big net. The Steelers worked the no-huddle offense, Roethlisberger’s specialty, on a short week, and the usually stout Panthers looked uneasy throughout.
Final Score: Steelers 52, Panthers 21
