I am sure there are many fans with incredible photos of their ManCave’s as well even better than mine but everyone has a story to tell and a passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I have been a fan since I was 5-years old living in Falls Church, VA. At that time of course I didn’t know much so my Mom said I just fell in love with the colors and the rest was history. I was one of the first 50 people to be tested and diagnosed at NIH in Bethesda, MD for Tourette Syndrome. I lived a tough life being teased in my younger years and there was no medication to help until I was about 8 years old. I only had one friend pretty much after that and he was a Dolphins Fan but we watched and played football religiously throughout elementary school and high school. Football on Sundays was my way to escape the world.

“Many years have gone by now, and I don’t want to drag it on but my dream was to always have a big enough space to make a Steeler ManCave. We just moved to Lowell, ME last year and I have created my haven above our garage.”

“I can’t wait to watch our first season this year up there!”

“As you look at the photos, I want to share a cool story: A couple years ago, when we lived in Wilmington, NC, we personally met Alex Highsmith at the Azalea Festival and were able to play a hole of golf with him, and met him and his amazing parents. I was able to get a hole in one actually so if you talk to him, tell him how appreciative we are of that. He signed my hoodie and terrible towel. One of the most special moments of my life!”

“We went to Heinz Field a few years ago, but missed Ben. We did see Mason and Duck Hodges, but unfortunately, they lost to the Bills. We still had an amazing time.”

“I have also seen the Steelers in Minneapolis and in Green Bay way back in the day when we lived in Austin, MN for almost 20 years. I have been on the list for season tickets for years hoping before I pass away that I can get them, LOL!”

“Back to my Man Cave – the bar area is complete with a Big Ben Tap for game days.”

“We put in artificial turf as well. We had planned to make the turf into the Steelers field but it never happened as the company that promised they could pull it off did not, so I am left with just the turf, LOL!”

“We follow ‘Footbahlin’ during the season, which we love, and maybe one day we can meet Ben as well.”

“Thank you so much for the opportunity to share our ManCave photos, and my story, with the fans and Ben as well.”
