A trip with a true purpose

Dan Doyle, with his sons, Brendan, Devin, and Jackson at Croke Park, in Dublin, Ireland, for the Steelers vs Vikings game September 28th.

According to Aunt Debbie, who sent us the photo, Dan’s (#43 in photo) father, Bill, passed away last year. He was a Steelers season ticket holder, and his family is originally from Ireland. His wife, Patty, wanted to take his ashes back to Ireland. When the game was announced, they decided that would be the perfect time to do it. Bill’s son and grandsons took in the game in Bill’s honor, knowing he would have loved to have been there himself. 🖤💛

Don't Quit

The words from Coach Hep's favorite poem, "Don't Quit" were not recited just to motivate his players before a game - they were a way of life for him. Ben keeps a copy of that poem taped to his locker.

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
