Scott not only posed for a photo with Ben this weekend, but sent us some great action photos of #7 hard at work!

“People can debate who the best QB in the NFL is all they want. For me, the only QB I want leading my team is Big Ben. It was great seeing him today! Both in his tireless dedication to his craft and in the generous way he treats the team’s supporters, Ben sets an example befitting of his leadership role on the team. It is always a pleasure for us to see Ben and interact with him in person. My family and I are proud that he is the QB of the team we love!” — Scott Juba.

BestDayEver. Today, two of my pups (the aviator and the little brother) had the best black-and-gold-day ever. Chatted with @_BigBen7…and met @AB84 on the field. Thanks to these two greats for being gracious & kind. Here we go, @steelers, here we go! 🖤💛

Worth the wait!

“I have been a fan since he was drafted in 2004, but I’ve come to respect him more for his faith in Christ than in his work on the football field in the last two years. Last year before the season began, I heard a talk that was […]

The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation open grant season is winding down!

The month of August heralds the beginning of training camp & the NFL Pre-Season games….and the end of the 2019 open grant season for Ben’s foundation!

Police & Fire Agencies, don’t delay!! Applications and supporting documents must be mailed and postmarked by August 15th!!

This year marks the 13th season of grants for his foundation. The majority of the grants distributed will help police and fire department K-9 units to purchase dogs and dog safety vests, but other types of K-9 specific needs will be considered.

Ben’s foundation plans to distribute grants in the cities and surrounding communities of each regular season away game for the Steelers during the 2019 NFL season including Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Phoenix, New York City and Baltimore. We invite police and fire departments in these eight communities to submit proposals detailing their needs. In addition, the Foundation will make grants to several police and fire department K-9 units in the Pittsburgh area following Super Bowl LIV.

The mission of the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation is to support K-9 units of police and fire departments throughout the United States with a particular emphasis on support for service dogs in Pittsburgh, PA. In addition, Ben has hosted a number of events to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, his high school alma mater and other organizations close to his heart. The foundation has distributed in excess of $2.1 million since 2007, $1.7 million of which has specifically benefited K-9 programs.

Full grant guidelines and application cover page are available at https://www.givingback.org/ben-roethlisberger-foundation-application-2019/.

A talented artist, a work of art, and a great cause

So back in May, a local Pittsburgh area artist by the name of Tempy Moore shared her beautiful Steelers – Big Ben piece with us after attending Ben’s autograph signing (and getting Ben to sign it) in Monroeville:

“Finalized this pastel Ben Roethlisberger tribute today! Ben was so nice and a true class act. So happy he loved it. He said that it was, “So awesome” like 20 times, and his eyes and face lit up! So happy to share my talents with him and thank him personally for just being Big Ben!” — Tempy Moore.

About this amazing artist:

“I taught myself how to draw from a very young age. I love adding details to pieces like this. This is probably my best piece to date. I learn something new every drawing still always learning. This is chalk pastel on Museum Ampersand Board. Took me approximately 600 hours on and off, mother of 2 teens & grade school art teacher.”

After her work was shared here and on Ben’s social media pages, fans flooded us with requests for prints of this work….

Well not only did Tempy hear you, she is answering you with 250 prints for purchase!! But there’s more….

Tempy is generously donating 40% of the proceeds for each purchase of a print of this beautiful work of art to the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation!!

The prints are $200 each and Tempy is paying the shipping — that’s right, free shipping!

Purchase your print and help Ben’s foundation here!
