It’s another Fan Friday….only DIFFERENT!
I am so honored to team up with ‘Big Ben’ Roethlisberger to tackle a great cause!
When Ben wore my ‘Different’ shirt to training camp a few weeks ago and it caused so much attention, we knew we should take the opportunity to shine a light on something way bigger than a T-shirt. Honored to partner with Light of Life Rescue Mission, who has been on the ground making a huge difference in the lives of homeless citizens in Pittsburgh for a years.
For every shirt we sell, two meals are being donated to Light of Life Rescue Mission! — Micah Tyler.

We’ve had our shirts. Just waiting for the right time to wear them. Thought today would be appropriate…..we need to play this team #different than the last few!! @_BigBen7 @MicahTylerMusic

@_BigBen7 @MicahTylerMusic I love everything about this T-shirt! Think about donating to those in need. #helpingothers
@MicahTylerMusic @_BigBen7 Can I just add how comfortable and well made the shirts are?? We bought them to support this wonderful cause but no one mentions how great they are! Smiling face Appreciate all you both do!! Happy Bensday.

Love this shirt and love even more the cause. Help those in need. @_BigBen7 @MicahTylerMusic
Throwback Thursday, Part II

“I’m the little one on the right. Austin, my older brother, is on the left. This was at Team Picture Day at Miami OH – my dad was the OL / Run Game Coordinator at Miami OH while Ben was the quarterback.” — Cole Peterson.

Wednesday’s Q&A with the media
“We’re not exactly the best team in football right now. We’ve got a winning record, but if you ask most of the guys in this building, I think they would tell you we’ve got a long way to go. We can’t worry. I know Coach will pull all his nameless grey faces, all these different things, but honestly they’re an NFL team that’s going to come in here and want to beat us and we want to beat them. I don’t want to look at the records or worry about who they are. They’re trying to get a win and so are we.” — Ben, on playing the Detroit Lions this weekend.
From Teresa Varley, Steelers.com:
Ben Roethlisberger has done it time and time again.
The quarterback just has a knack for being able to orchestrate a fourth quarter comeback, pulling victory out of the hands of defeat almost with a magic wand.
He did it for the 50th time in his career, a Steelers record and ranked third all-time in the NFL, when he led the Steelers on a game-winning drive against the Chicago Bears on Monday night.
“It makes you realize you stunk the first three quarters. I said at the end of that game, when they scored, they scored quick, which is awesome. I looked up and 1:48 (on the clock) and it made me think that I always joke with Coach (Mike) Tomlin because whenever we do our two-minute drills in practice, he’ll give me a yardage, time and a timeout or maybe two if I’m lucky. I always joke with him, I’m like do I need a field goal or a touchdown, because obviously a field goal is a lot different. He’s like, ‘You need a touchdown 7,’ so only needing a field goal made a little bit easier.”
Roethlisberger was asked if there was an art to finishing games like that, saying it’s all about the tempo of the game.
“It’s one of those things where it’s usually the tempo. If you can pick the pace up and call the plays, no huddle, things like that. The defense sometimes gets more basic, they kind of stick to something. I just felt going into that last drive they had had some success with their 22-man defense, so I assumed that’s what we’d be seeing. I kind of called a couple […]
Week 9: Bears 27, Steelers 29
“We’re playing well enough. Not great. You know, offensively speaking we’re doing enough right now.” — Ben.

“Roethlisberger found rookie tight end Pat Freiermuth for both of his touchdowns, but his night was highlighted by his final drive to put Pittsburgh in range for the game-winning field goal. The veteran found Diontae Johnson on a 22-yard gain with just over a minute remaining, then hit Freiermuth for 13 more shortly after for good measure. In doing so, he helped the Steelers earn a fourth straight victory, a span that’s coincided with Roethlisberger throwing zero interceptions. The 39-year-old will strive to continue his winning play in Week 10 versus the Lions.” — RotoWire.
