“I’m from Pittsburgh and of course, a Steelers fan! I moved to Hilton Head Island about 10 years ago. While living here, I met someone who is also originally from Pittsburgh. We got married 3 ½ years ago. And the joke is I had to move 700 miles to Hilton Head to meet a Pittsburgh guy!!
He is also a diehard Steelers fan! He even named his boat ‘Steel City’ and it screams PITTSBURGH and the STEELERS! People either love us or hate us when we are out on the water. But the boat, wasn’t enough…”
“We have a bonus room above our garage. I used that room and I made my husband a Steelers Mancave. I did everything myself. He wasn’t allowed to see it until I was finished. I know most people in Pittsburgh have their game rooms in the basement, but we are in South Carolina. We are in the lowcountry and we don’t have basements. So our Steelers Mancave room is upstairs, making it even more unique.”
“My husband already had a custom made replica of a Steelers locker that I wanted to use. So I designed part of the room using the locker as the theme. I had a curtain custom made with an older (vintage) picture of the Steelers locker room to flow into his locker.”
