Left Photo: This particular pair has been style-matched to five different games in 2014: at Jacksonville (Oct. 5); vs. Houston (Oct. 20); at Tennessee (Nov. 17); vs. New Orleans (Nov. 30); and vs. Kansas City (Dec. 21). They also match the style to his 2nd monster 6-TD game on Nov. 2, but we already sold this exact pair in our Fall 2015 Auction for $4,153. The exact game or games Big Ben wore this particular pair is not confirmed. Considering how the Steelers are known to recycle equipment even today, it is very possible that Ben wore this pair in all three games mentioned after November 2nd.

The size 14 Nike ‘Lunar Superbad Pro’ cleats display outstanding game use inside and out, with grass stains and contact marks on the exterior and sweat staining on the insoles. Ben’s uniform No. “7” has been penned in black on each shoe (likely by the team equipment manager) inward facing on the the back upper heel. The Nike interior tagging reads “SEASON SU14” and “PROMO SAMPLE 20140718” confirming that they were player-issued only.

Center Photo: This particular pair has been style-matched to four different road games in 2013: at Cincinnati Bengals (Sept. 16); at NY Jets (Oct. 13); at New England Patriots (Nov. 3); and at Baltimore Ravens (Nov. 28). The exact game or games Big Ben wore this pair is not confirmed, but based on the Steelers’ tendency to recycle equipment, it could very well be all of them.

The size 14 Nike ‘Lunar Superbad Pro” turf shoes display moderate game use, with contact and scuff marks throughout and sweat staining evident on the insoles. The Nike interior tagging reads “SEASON SU13” and “PROMO SAMPLE 30130916” indicates they were player-issued. Ben’s uniform No. “7” has been penned in black on each shoe (likely by the team equipment manager), inward facing on the back upper heel. Sporting the Steelers colors of white, yellow and black, both shoes have been autographed on the outside by Big Ben in 8-9/10 black marker with his uniform number inscribed. Original white laces are present.

Right Photo: Ben wore this pair in a pair of grueling home games during the rigorous 2013 NFL season. In the first one, Dec. 8, 2013 on a snowy Heinz Field, the Steelers dropped a close 34-28 game to the visiting Miami Dolphins. Ben was solid in the pocket as he completed 23 passes for 349 yards and three touchdowns. In the second game in which these cleats were worn, Dec. 29, 2013 against the visiting Cleveland Browns, Roethlisberger completed 19 of 31 passes 179 yards and one touchdown as Pittsburgh cruised to a 20-7 victory. He finished the season with 4,261 passing yards and 28 TD’s.

Ben’s mostly black and white size 14 Nike ‘Lunar Superbad Pro’ cleats exhibit excellent wear inside and out. Clumps of grass from Heinz Field are still stuck to the bottoms. Ben’s uniform No. “7” has been penned in black on each shoe (likely by the team equipment manager), inward facing on upper white section. Ben has autographed both clothes in bold 8-9/10 black marker on the outside toe area with his uniform number inscribed. The interior tagging reads “SEASON SU13” and “PROMO SAMPLE 30130916” confirming that these cleats were player-issued only.

All three include COA (Certificates of Authenticity).

And:

A portion of the proceeds will go directly towards The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation, which supports K-9 units and service dogs of police and fire departments throughout the U.S.

Ben’s foundation distributed more than $170,000 in grants to K-9 units around the country this past season and just completed it’s 9th season cycle. In addition to the Pittsburgh grants, the Foundation distributed grants to K-9 units of police departments in the cities and surrounding communities of each regular season away game for the Steelers.
