“I just want to say how impressed I was with all the interaction that Ben had with the kids – the way he went out of his way to make it special for them. In addition to signing all the autographs and passing to all the kids – he was in their games, interacting, and just enjoying playing with them. It was obvious that he truly does this for the kids and that he enjoys it.” – Janet Parker

“Thanks Big Ben for showing the kids at your camp such a great time. My son had a great time and was lucky enough to get to play ball with you. A memory he wont ever forget. 500 passes? I still can’t believe you threw a pass to EVERY child. Amazing!” – Lori Martin

Shout Out…

To big Steelers fan Robert Christy!

From Amy Mullen:

My brother, age 45 was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. My daughter, Lauren, has basically made it her mission to get as many people in Pittsburgh and anyone else to sign a letter that she wrote herself to my brother to show how many people are praying for him to be healthy and cancer free.

My brother was born and raised in Pittsburgh, but had to move to Oklahoma for work a few years ago.

He is a huge Steelers fan along with his three young boys.

Below is the letter that she wrote to my brother. She wanted me to drive around all of Pittsburgh to have everyone sign this letter, which we all know is not possible. So if you wouldn’t mind replying back with a little get well wish for my bother I would so deeply appreciate it, and you will make my little girl the happiest girl in the world. Thanks in advance for your prayers!

The letter –

“Dear Uncle Robert, I made something special for you about hope. I wrote some stuff to have a lot of faith and hope. I’m also sending you a butterfly. The butterfly means a few different things. First it means to have faith and never give up. Second it means that no matter what life gives you, always keep fighting. I told some of my friends about you and to pray for you. They said they would. Everyone in Bethel Park loves you, pray for you, and have faith for you. We all LOVE YOU.” Lauren Mullen – PRAY, FIGHT, WIN!

Steeler Nation, please keep Mr. Christy and his family in your thoughts and prayers!!
